Training for Lodge Host Volunteers
Activity Notes
Lodge Host Training Friday, February 27, 4–7 pm, held in-person at the Mazama Lodge.
The Mazamas needs hosts to help operate the Mazama Lodge for classes and member stays. This training is for new and current hosts. The training will include a review and walkthrough of the lodge highlighting key operational details. Attendees who complete the training will receive a Lodge Host badge.
The training supports two key elements of the Mazamas mission: helping build a community that inspires everyone to love and protect the mountains, and creating a clean, organized, and welcoming environment while embracing Mazamas values of inclusion, safety, education, service, and sustainability.
Logistics
Parking is available across Highway 26 at the ODOT/Mazama lot. From there, it's a 5-10 minute walk to the Lodge. Questions? Contact mazamalodge@mazamas.org
Plan on eating before or after the training. You're welcome to bring food to the lodge or grab something in Government Camp or elsewhere.
There is a scheduled program happening at the Lodge this weekend so a night stay is not possible.
Registration required.
Organizers: Michael Fasulo and Chris Jaworski
