Little Hamilton Mountain and Beacon Rock

Activity Notes

We'll carpool from the MMC parking lot departing at 7:15 am or you can meet us at the Hamilton Mountain Trailhead at 8 am. A Washington Discover Pass is required to park at the trailhead. 

Due to a landslide on the lower Hamilton Mountain trail, we'll walk up the road to the campground and access the main trail via the Hadley Trail. This will give us a convenient opportunity to check out Little Beacon Rock. The hike covers about 6 miles with 1500 feet of elevation gain. Little Hamilton is accessed by a short but steep and loose user trail. This is an out-and-back hike.

We'll then do the hike up Beacon Rock. 1.7 miles with 600 feet of gain.
