The Ghost Ridge & Palmateer Point is listed as a snowshoe route, but can only be selected as summer or fall activity instead of winter. Can this be updated so that the route can be done during winter?

Activity Notes

This is a beginner friendly winter hike, and we will take a gentle pace. Starting from Barlow Pass Sno Park, we will hike south on the PCT for approximately 2 miles before heading east to Palmateer Point. Here will stop for snacks and a grand (weather dependent) view of Mt Hood! If the group is feeling adventurous we can choose to make the trek to Lower Twin Lake, otherwise we will return on the same route.

Depending on conditions, participants will need to carry either microspikes or snowshoes for this hike.

In the unlikely event that there is a blizzard, or dangerous driving conditions to the trailhead, I will reschedule this event.
