Activity Notes
Let's observe the Snow Moon and snowshoe by moonlight. Snowshoe up Jack Pine Road at sunset to the Potato Hill summit, about 1.75 miles and 900 feet of elevation gain one-way. The route has great views of nearby peaks such as Mt. Washington, Three Fingered Jack, and the Sisters. We'll focus on fun rather than speed. Foul weather and clouds cancel this trip. Because this is a night-time trip, it should not be your first time snowshoeing!
