Silver Star Mountain (Grouse Vista) Sunset Hike

We'll tackle the steep hike up the Grouse Vista trail at a brisk pace to catch the sunset from the summit of Silver Star Mountain (and cross our fingers that we don't have too much cloud cover). The hike gains over 2000 feet in just over 3 miles, and the beginning in particular is fairly steep. Since we're aiming to catch the sunset at the summit, we'll descend in the dark: bring a headlamp.

We'll carpool from the MMC at 2 PM. If you plan to meet at the trailhead, arrive no later than 3 PM.
