Activity Notes

Autumn in this remote canyon is ideal for viewing vibrant colors and an excellent time for

bird watching. Deer and other wildlife are also common in the canyon. This segment of the

Klickitat Trail has just reopened ( October 8 ) after a 10 month renovation project that has

provided bridge improvements, new gates and new resurfacing.

We will hike about 11 miles with a minimal elevation gain of 500 feet.

Drive 175 miles round trip.
