A three pitch 5.6 sport route of an andesite pinnacle of pretty good rock on a broad steep nose with some airy exposure located a very short walk from highway 20.
Activity Notes
Santiam Pinnacle is 2 1/2 pitches of well bolted 5.6 with airy exposure and decent rock quality just a short walk from the highway. I will be running this as a beginner friendly climb as an intro to multipitch. We will climb in groups of 3 with a lead, a lead belayer with multipitch experience (ICS preferred) and a beginner. BCEP level skills are still expected of the beginner -- tying in, basic climbing commands, and rappelling. When you apply, please add yourself to the google sign up sheet with your preferred role:
