The Mount Defiance hike is a steep hike with great views of the surrounding mountains on a clear day. You can make it a loop hike by going up the Starvation Ridge Trail and back down the Mount Definance Trail or you can go out and back on the same trail. Activity Notes
Hello,
This is a loop hike. We do the loop anti clockwise, coming down on Starvation Ridge. Going up 90% under the canopy coming down 50-50.
Please note this is a Tuesday hike, July 15th starting at 7:00AM from Gateway Transit Center.
My hikes are always very slow and steady. What to bring:
1. 4 Liters of water
2. NO JEANS PANTS for the hike, shorts or hiking pants.
3. Hiking poles, hat, food, electrolytes etc .....
4. Headlamp and a thin jacket is a must
See you at the backend, ground floor of transit center.
regards
Ananda
