| Gunsight Butte is one of the highpoints on a long ridge to the east of Mount Hood. This hike offers excellent views of the snowy volcano to the west as well the canyons and badlands of the Badger Creek Wilderness to the east. Starting at the Gumjuwac Trailhead on Highway 35, it ascends up to Gumjuwac Saddle and then heads southwest on the Gunsight Trail to Gunsight Butte. |
