Devils Rest (via Wahkeena)

Activity Notes

A lovely weekday gorge hike to avoid the weekend crowds.

We'll depart from the MMC before 7:30 and aim to be at the trailhead by 8am. Expect about 7.6' and 2800' elevation gain, and to be back at the MMC in the early afternoon.

I've done Devil's Rest via Angel's Rest before, but not from Wahkeena, so this will be an exploratory hike for me.

Bring the ten essentials (including plenty of food and water), trekking poles, layers, and a hat.
