As described here: A loop made from two lesser-used trails in the Badger Creek Wilderness. In spring, experience several seasons of wildflowers as you ascend. Nice views to the east, land features and human relics.

Activity Notes

9.6 mi, 2150'   Got a hankering for some wildflowers and interesting rocks, perhaps a view (weather permitting) or two?  Well, then, this is the hike for you.  We'll make our way up Little Badger creek, moving from balsamroot and lupine to trillium and, if we're lucky, glacier lilies (specific wildflower sightings not guaranteed!).  There will be gnome rocks to explore, as well as some human relics for poking around. 

It's a long haul, but there should be clearer skies and, if you happen to be staying at the lodge for the weekend, a good bit less of a drive!
