Activity Notes
Join this classic Columbia River Gorge hike. We'll start at the new Pacific Crest Trail-Cascade Locks Trailhead and make our way to one of my personal favorite Gorge waterfalls, Dry Creek Falls. After enjoying these lovely falls, we'll continue our hike to the Herman Creek Pinnacles, three large chunks of basalt where I intend to take lunch. This hike will be about 7.5 miles and 1600 feet of elevation gain on a fairly straightforward track.
The good thing with this hike, it works great on a rainy day. We of course will still wish for sunshine.
