Activity Notes

An invigorating and beautiful spring hike near Dog Mountain, but without the crowds. Mostly we’ll be hiking through forest, but there are nice meadows at the summit and on the way up, with wildflowers depending on the season. The trail is steep in a few places, but it’s much better signed nowadays than in the Oregon Hikers description (see details tab). We’ll leave from the MMC at 7.30.
