Activity Notes
We start by descending into beautiful Swale Canyon and as we do we should find blooms
of yellow balsamroot, blue lupine, white phlox, and clumps of yellow desert parsley.
We may even get to see marmots or an otter who has been known to swim in Swale Creek.
The hike is approximately 11 miles with minimal elevation gain ( 500' ).
Drive 175 miles round trip to this remote location.
