Activity Notes
Lewis River Falls is a gem of a trail, hugely popular in the summer but barely visited in the winter. This out-and-back trail is bookended by the grand Lower Lewis River Falls and Upper Lewis River Falls, visiting Middle Lewis River Falls and Upper Copper Creek Falls along the way. Upper Lewis River Falls bears an echo of Niagara. The trail is soft, and in late fall there are copious mushrooms. We will hike 6.9 miles, gaining 775', and we will only visit safe viewpoints.
