Activity Notes

Tired of negotiating blown-down trees on hikes? I invite you to a trail network that is maintained to the strict standards of mountain bikers yet hosts few mountain bikers. It's been cleared of downed trees since early June! If the skies are clear, we'll get a view of Mt Adams, but even more interesting are the rock outcroppings and the taste of central Oregon so close to home: slightly dryer climate, ponderosa pines. Everyone who's ever hiked this loop with me has loved it, and you will too.

We will hike 11.3 miles, descending 2,100' in the morning, and ascending 2,100' in the afternoon.
