Activity Notes
Join us for a ramble through the open, mixed woodlands east of Mt. Hood. We will begin hiking at Fifteenmile Campground off USFS Rd. 2730 and hike along the open ridge between Fifteenmile and Cedar Creeks, before dropping down to the creeks' confluence, crossing Fifteenmile Creek and returning to our cars. This hike should have lots of wildflowers and some interesting rock formations to explore along the way. We will meet at the MMC at 7:30 AM to carpool. Those that wish to meet us at the trailhead, we will arrive at 9:20 AM and begin hiking at 9:30 AM. Please email me at scottsetevensonpdx@gmnail.com if you will not be meeting us at the MMC. There is a chance that the road to our trailhead may not be fully free from snow. If that is the case, we will begin the hike at a lower elevation, at the Underhill campground off FS 44. This would add approx. 3 miles to the hike. We will make a final determination on the trailhead 48 hours prior to the hike day.Registration is Closed
