Mt. Hood (Wy'east), South Side, Likely Old Chute

This is a Winter ascent of the South side of Hood, likely via Old Chute, though the route will depend on conditions, which, during the Winter, can be much different than on a typical summer climb. Preparation for icy conditions is vital.  The date of the climb is slightly variable depending on weather/conditions, but the target is December 27th. Ideally this goes before January 1st, otherwise we have to pay the new permit fee.  This is going to be a small group. I am looking for  three somewhat experienced climbers to join Darren and myself; ideally those who have graduated ICS/SSI or have the equivalent skills.
