This is an B level Mazama Hike that occurs in a wilderness area. B level hikes are moderate or more challenging hikes with either less than 15 miles in distance with between 1,500 and 3,000 feet elevation gain or between 8 and 15 miles in distance with less than 1,500 feet of elevation gain.

Activity Notes

Popular hike on the east shoulder of Broken Top. The viewpoint, at 7700 feet offers spectacular views of the Broken Top, Three Sisters, Belknap Crater,  Mt. Washington, Three Fingered Jack, Mt. Jefferson and Three Creeks Lake.  6 miles / 1300 feet.

Group will meet at the Forest Service ranger station in Sisters, OR at 9:00 am.
