Brief but spectacular hike down a canyon carved into multiple waterfalls by the 1980 Mt St Helens eruption. There is a section with exposure and a steep drop as well as two ladders that must be scaled, so it is not recommended for anyone with a fear of heights. Leave from the MMC at 7:15am and depart from the trailhead at 9:30. Plan to be back in Portland by 3pm.
