A nearby peak 1/2 mile from the popular Del Campo, Gothic Peak was named after William Gothic, an early prospector. Combining Gothic with Del Campo can make a fine weekend two-peak weekend trip. The main route is a class 3 scramble. Camping in the Gothic Basin of Foggy Lake area can be especially beautiful.

Activity Notes

Car-to-car, mostly trail approach, 3800 gain, easy snow and easy but somewhat exposed 100-foot 3rd-class rock scramble in a beautiful area.  Note adjacent (harder) East Wilman's Spire climb the previous day, I prefer folks sign up for both, but not required.  We will return to cars and a trailhead camp between climbs, return from both climbs by 1PM Sunday July 2.

Gear list will be in prospectus.

This is a substitute for White Chuck, which is canceled (really moved!)  All applicants moved.
