Multi-day backpack trip to Hayden Pass. From that pass leave the trail and go cross-country to the summit of Sentinel Peak.
Activity Notes
This will be our second 9,000' peak climbed on 8/06/2023, the climbing day of our three-day backpack from Wallowa Lake. Sentinel Peak is 400' above Polaris Pass, where we will leave our trail from our camp at Aneroid Lake. Sentinel is a slightly easier scramble than Pete's Point, and the reward is views of the central Wallowas, a different perspective than we'll get from Pete's Point. After summiting Sentinel Peak, we will return to camp.| Other Information | |
