North Sister

Activity Notes

We will start at the Pole Creek trailhead, camp on the ridge below Middle Sister and North Sister.   We will climb North Sister and Middle Sister on Saturday and then camp one more night on the ridge.

This climb is for folks that are in great shape and are comfortable on scree and with significant exposure. We will need to be efficient and travel at a consistent pace. Participants will need to be comfortable with low 5th level climbing, rappeling and ascending and descending on scree and loose rock. There will also be a short distance of roped glacier travel on the descent from Middle Sister.

This is a fun climb, with a little bit of everything, plus it will let participants hit two peaks in one trip.
