Activity Notes

This is a three pitch (maybe 5.6?) alpine rock climb with a reasonably short approach. The second pitch is a bit airy but great for anyone looking to up their rock experience or who had the time of their life in BCEP at Horsethief. We will likely set a fixed line for the first two pitches. Depending on snow conditions, an ice axe and crampons may be required to attain the summit block. I plan to drive up Friday morning to secure two campsites for Saturday night. Campers can share in the cost. Rainier NP charges a $30 entrance fee so carpooling is recommended. Campsites allow two cars typically. There is overflow parking available.
