BCEP 2023: TEAM 22: Hike 01 Forest Park (Location/Time Change)

Activity Notes

March 1st Update:  Conditioning hike location has been switched to Forest Park due to the expected unsafe wintry weather in the Columbia gorge.  Meeting location at 8:15am is NW 27th and NW Quimby street (near Chapman Elementary school. ) Find a parking spot (free) on the streets near the school and walk around to the meeting location.  The hike will start promptly at 8:30am.  Plan for a full day.  Pay particular attention to the gear list (please bring all items on the gear list) and especially focus on keeping your feet warm and dry.  Expect to be walking in a mix of snow-covered streets and trails. This will be a good opportunity to test our wet weather gear.  Please bring plenty of snacks for yourself as you will burn a lot of calories hiking and keeping warm.
