The Mazamas offers a variety of classes for all ability levels. Learn new skills in mountaineering, rock climbing, first aid, ski mountaineering, and more.
We will tackle the North Ridge of Mt. Washington first and then the South Ridge of Three Fingered Jack.
We’ll be camping at the PCT trailhead near Big Lake. This is USFS land. It’s a dry camp so you will need enough water for both climbs and two overnights.
Drive over Thursday evening and camp, then Climb Washington. This can be a long day so prepare for a twelve hour climb. The next day, we’ll drive to the trailhead for 3FJ and begin that climb. This will likely be a shorter day.
