The SSI course enhances climbers' skills on steeper terrain using ice axes and crampons. Applications open June 1–21, 2025, with notifications by July 4, 2025. Classes start in August 2025 at Mazama Mountaineering Center and Mt. Hood. Teams A and B rotate practice dates. September 6-7 is reserved for weather issues. Don't miss the info night!
