CANCELED (Online) Ouray Ice Park: Tips & Recommendations

Ever wanted to try ice climbing but have trouble finding ice around Portland? Don't want to lead sketchy ice before top-roping first? Tired of hiking for hours in search of the perfect crevasse to practice climbing in?

Ouray (you-ray) Ice Park is home to more than 100 ice and mixed climbs, 99% of them top-rope-able and within a 15-minute walk of the park entrance. Located in the heart of the San Juan mountain range, this man-made ice park is nestled in a natural gorge, just a few minute's walk from town. It sounded too good to be true to new ice climbers Michal and Maryn, so they decided to check it out!

Join them online as they share tips and tricks about how to get there, climbing in the park, and lessons learned (often the hard way).
