Join Mazama member Hannah Snyder to travel down three of New Zealand's Great Walks: the Tongariro Northern Circuit, Milford, and Rakiura. Using research and experience from a 2018 visit, Hannah will begin with a brief overview of New Zealand's wilderness systems, travel logistics, and conservation. You will be treated to a virtual taste of tramping over around and through volcanoes, rain forests, alpine passes, waterfalls, and beaches. And birds!
