Activity Notes

Cook Hill is just East of Dog Mt, with similar elevation gain  and distance. There are usually fewer hikers and no parking restrictions. There is solitude and an abundance of wildflower species in the spring. Views to Dog Mountain, Mount Defiance, and Mount Hood, and Mt Adams. We will have a moderate pace with breaks as needed. Distance: 8.8 miles High point: 3,015 feet Elevation gain: 2930 feet
