AYM: Evening Hike - Cape Horn (dog friendly)

Join us for a mid-week hike up Cape Horn (doggo friendly)! 

The hike is about 8.5 miles, with an elevation gain of about 1800'. Difficulty rating is moderate. (More info: https://www.oregonhikers.org/field_guide/Cape_Horn_Overlooks_Hike). We won't be able to do the normal loop version, due to falcon nesting season, but we can do the out-n-back version. Depending on timing and how the group is feeling, there is the option to do a short, 5 mile, out-n-back. 

We expect to be finished before dark, but just in case, come prepared with a headlamp!

Pupticipants are welcome, but out of respect to other hikers we are limiting the number of doggos to 5. Please indicate when you register if you plan to bring your pup by emailing aym@mazamas.org. All pup-ticipants must be well behaved and get along with other puppers. Any participant who attempts to bring a dog who does not indicate to us by email that they will be bringing a dog will not be permitted on the hike.
