Activity Notes

Let's enjoy a one day climb up Three Finger Jack via the popular PCT Santiam trailhead route.  Rough Schedule Tuesday PM: Leave Portland and drive to Santiam Pass PCT trailhead where we will car camp Wednesday 4:30 AM:  Rise and breakfast Wednesday 5:30 AM:  Meet in PCT Trailhead parking lot Wednesday 6:00 AM:  Start the climb.  Sunrise 6:43 AM Wednesday PM:  Return to car, debrief, head to Portland.  Sunset 7:27 PM NW Forest Pass or America the Beautiful pass is required to park at the trailhead.  Applicants should know how to rappel, and be familiar with fixed line travel
