Activity Notes

 This trail is adjacent to the Trapper Creek Wilderness. It gains little elevation as it winds close to Dry Creek, a tributary of the Wind River At the upper end of the trail near Bourbon Creek, you will encounter some massive Douglas-firs. Although most of the trail was unaffected, the last mile was reportedly somewhat affected by the Big Hollow Fire in 2020. This is the first season the trail has been opened since the fire.
