Starting from Beacon Rock State Park's equestrian trailhead, hike up Hardy Ridge to Phlox Point, then take the Bridge Trail and Don's Cutoff to the Saddle, then go up to Hamilton Mountain and return on Equestrian Trail.

Annual birthday bash finds us hiking up the panoramic West Hardy Ridge to Phlox Point for lunch. Then down the East Hardy Ridge, cross a wooden bridge, and up Don's Cutoff to summit Mt. Hamilton. Then back down, across the bridge and out. Discover Pass needed for drivers. 14 miles / 3400' elevation gain. drive 93 miles round trip.
