Fall is a great time of year to climb North Sister.  The less frequently climbed of the Three Sisters, it has unique challenges and stark beauty. It provides a great opportunity to learn the Zen of scree, utilize fixed-line travel, pass through the infamous Bowling Alley, and exercise fourth class climbing on the way to the fourth highest peak in Oregon.
