Larch Mountain (Multnomah Falls)

Activity Notes

Starting from Multnomah Falls, we will ascend from Multnomah Creek via the partially burned Larch Mountain Trail to a different climactic zone, where it's possible we'll walk on snow. Our destination is the Sherrard Point overlook; if it's a clear day we'll be able to see many mountains. But this classic gorge hike is memorable in any weather, with the only downside being the hordes of casual hikers in the last mile of our descent.
