Activity Notes

This will be a one day, car-to-car climb from the Cold Springs trailhead. We will be meeting Friday night, July 1, at the trailhead by 8 PM.  We will camp there in preparation for our early morning start. Be aware, the road is terrible and you will want a car with high clearance and 4WD may by helpful.  On Saturday, July 2nd, we will start at 3 AM, summit and return to the parking lot the same day. This is a long day, but we will travel lighter, since we do not need overnight gear. Participants will want to be in good shape and prepared to comfortably cover 12 miles with approximately 5,500 ft in elevation gain.
