Activity Notes
Consider applying for Mt Ellinor on the previous day. Mt. Washingtonis the highest point on the rocky ridge overlooking Lake Cushman from the north. It was named for its resemblance to George Washington?s profile. The chin is the summit! This is nontechnical (no ropes), but requires using ice axe and perhaps crampon is spots. There is some exposed rock climbing near the summit. It is a fairly long climb that requires some stamina to complete, despite its low elevation.Canceled
