Mt. Baker reclaimed the world record for single season snowfall in 1998-99 95 FEET, taking it from Rainier. Next to Rainier, Baker is the most glaciated peak in the lower 48 states. Easton is the most moderate route on the peak, and it's long with moderate crevasse danger.
Crevasse Rescue skills are required for this climb.
Friday meet at trailhead and be ready to hike out at 10am. It is a 5 hour drive from Portland so plan accordingly. Hike to campsite.
Saturday - Get an alpine start, hopefully summit and return to camp.
Sunday - hike back to cars and return home.
