Activity Notes
This hike will see some beautiful geologic features, waterfalls, expansive views of the gorge and Mt Hood (if the weather is clear), and ground nesting birds in the meadow and cliff sides. Iits a little early for the wild flower show, but there may be some balsamroot flowers in bloom. I intend to take us counter clockwise from the trail head, passing through the Labyrinth first and then up to the top of the meadow, giving us the best and longest views of the gorge on the way down. We'll rest at the top for a bit of food, recovery, and socializing before descending to the trail head. Plan for a full day of hiking, but we will likely not use all of it.Registration is Closed
