Angel's Rest (Sunset Hike)

Get away from your desk and out into the gorge to enjoy the sunset from the top of Angel's Rest! Hike departs the Angel's Rest trailhead promptly at 5pm.  No parking pass required, do not leave valuables in your car.  Expect a good conditioning pace, and we'll enjoy a snack and the sunset at the top.  We'll be back to the trailhead by 8pm.  It will be dark.  A headlamp and extra batteries are one of the ten essentials you should always carry, and you'll actually need to use them on this hike.  Spring gorge weather can be unpredictable, so also be sure to pack another of the ten essentials- rain gear and an extra layer.
