Activity Notes

We will meet at the Fairgrounds Community Park near the Clark County Fairgrounds.  We will use the connector trail to hike over to Whipple Creek Regional Park.  The trails in the park are  wide and well maintained, but they will be muddy and might be slippery.   You will also need to dodge the horse poop and the hoof prints.  Well behaved dogs on a leash are welcome, but you don't need a dog to attend. Hikers need to give way to horses.  Prepare for cold and rainy weather.  This is a 6.0 mile hike with 1000 ft elevation gain, but more up and down rather than steep hills.
