Commonly done during the Basic Climbing Education Program (BCEP), this hike is a good conditioner for climbing Mt. Hood as well as practicing rope team travel and crampon techniques.

Activity Notes

We will hike up to Devils Kitchen in preparation for everyone's summit attempt in May. On the way back to our cars, we will set up a fixed line to practice ascending and descending quickly and efficiently.
