Activity Notes

I am scheduling this climb over three days as a buffer, but I anticipate we will be able to complete this climb in two days.  I am trying to beat out Holiday crowds so our climb will be a weekday climb Thursday (7/1) through Friday (7/2) with Saturday if needed.  We will play it by ear (e.g. we'll decide based on how the team is feeling, and possible weather patterns). Plan will be to leave town early Thursday morning to meet at the Glacier Public Service Center by 11am.  That will require to leave Portland by about 5am.  With any luck you will be able to miss the majority of rush hour traffic in Seattle.  We'll fill out the climber's registrar and head up to base camp for the evening. We will wake up early on Friday for our summit bid.  Hopefully we can get back to basecamp by early afternoon and head back out to the trailhead and then home.  If we are slow or people are too tired, or weather issues, we could spend another evening at base camp.  So please be prepared for that.
