Activity Notes
Take a quiet, flat stroll out to the northern tip of Sauvie's Island. You will be traveling through a state wildlife refuge and visiting the Warrior Rock Light. Dogs will need to be on a leash. An ODFW pass will be needed and can be purchased at the Cracker Barrel Store. This hike is 6.8 miles with almost no elevation gain. We will meet at the Cracker Barrel Store where you can buy a parking pass. Parking Passes are $10 a day or $30 for a year. Sauvie's Island is about 20 miles from Portland. We will drive from the store out to the trailhead. Please note that the Mazamas are adhering to all state and local regulations in offering our activities. Review our policies here: mazamas.org/covid19. You will be required to wear a mask within 6-ft of another person and to always have a mask at the ready in case we pass by others on the trail. We actively discourage carpooling at this time. If you are sick, you are asked to stay home.Cracker Barrel Store, 15005 NW Sauvie Island Road Don McCoy 503-709-9306
