Climb thru Doug fir and Ponderosa pine to an old lookout site that provides a sweeping view of the Hood River Valley and nearby Mt. Hood, then clear out into the Washington Cascades. Enjoy superb wildflower displays while maneuvering thru the switchbacks. 8.4 miles with elevation gain of 2400'. Drive 144 miles R/T.
