One-day climb of Mt. Hood via the South Side, either Pearly Gates or Old Chute variations, depending on conditions.  Depart Timberline Climber's Registry at 11:59 PM on April 30 (Thursday) for summit attempt on Friday, May 1, AM. Descent via PG or Old Chute/Mazama Chute, and return to Timberline early afternoon May 1.
