Out-and-back hike starting and ending from BLM's Wildwood Recreation Area on the Mt Hood Highway. The beauty on this hike is at the bottom and the top; most of the elevation gain is in a dense westside forest. We will likely be too early for this trail's ample rhododendrons, and we may end up with a little snow near our high point. Successful applicants' Mazamas profiles will reveal evidence of recent (spring 2020) C 2.5 hikes.
