This is an A level Mazama Hike that occurs in a non-wilderness area. A level hikes are easy or less strenuous hikes with less than 8 miles in distance and less than 1,500 feet of elevation gain.

Activity Notes

Exploratory all-weather hike in the Cascade foothills near Opal Creek. Quite a drive for a short hike, but I hear the rewards are well worth it.  We also have a few other options to extend the hike in the are.
