Come along for a hike during peak of the Geminids meteor shower. Views of Mt Hood with the winter night sky. 5.5 miles RT, 500'. Drive 124.

Geminids are caused by a possible planetoid called 3200 Phaethon. The meteors are slow moving and intensify every year, recently reaching 160 per hour under optimal conditions. We'll start early to maximize viewing before moonrise.
